It was so crazy to feel warm ocean water. It has been so long since I could let the water come up over my knees without making my feet lose feeling.
The Oregon coast is beautiful, quaint and relaxing. We are looking forward to finding just the perfect beach for us here in NC. I think in Oregon our favorite was Neskowin or Pacific City. Easy to get to, friendly beaches and good food nearby.

I am so glad you got out and had fun and I am super jealous that you are so close to a beach! I think we are going to head down to Gettysburg in a couple of weeks, but that's not the same as the ocean. :)
I miss my family and friends too. I never watch daytime tv, but I turned it on this morning while I painted, just for noise. And I agree completely about talk shows - especially Nate Berkus. And The Chew? That's nothing but awkward. :) Some people just aren't cut out to host.
I have found Paula Deen to be very soothing. Sometimes I just put her on in the background so I don't feel too lonesome!
Does your new beaches have jelly fish?? We have sucky beaches here but still beaches so I guess i'm thankful?!
Lordy help me for some reason everyday i hear The Chew 9even the name irritates me) in the background and wonder how the hell it's still on tv. yet i find myself NOT changing the channel. weirdest thing. And Nate, cute as a button but nope never watched a whole show. :) Your kids are the cutest I love there expressions. So you!!
