Summer 2009

Here is how our summer began, a trip to Crater Lake. It was beautiful! The rest of the summer has been flashing by. My first summer of working and it has been crazy! Fun, but crazy. I am so happy the studio is doing well and looking forward to the upcoming break so I can make it even better. The kids and I have lots of plans for the last two weeks of summer vacation. I will make every effort to post all of our adventures here. I am just still trying to figure out this dang bloggin' thing. I don't understand how to make it look any better or how to find other's blogs. I need blog night school. Let's see if I get any better at this.

It's February Already!?

I can't believe it is not only February but the end of it! Wow, things have been busy to say the least. I have been trying to stay organized, de-cluttering the house and re-arranging everything! Ellie has begun her life with an orthodontist, today marking the initial consultation and her commitment to this particular Doctor. I am hopeful she keeps up her good attitude about her treatment!

Aside from the daily run around I have decided to open my own children's art studio here in Newberg. I am very hopeful that classes will be full and that it will bring a service to the children here that will enrich their lives. It is a LOT of work starting your own business and I am currently in the throws of sifting through the paper work and red tape. As I busy myself with learning computer lingo necessary to post my own website Rob is hard at work remodeling the studio, which used to be an asian nail salon. Lets just say there was a LOT  of work to do. It is coming along, walls are painting, floor is almost complete, and lights are hung and working! Here are some shots of the before pics. yikes!
