I love my crazy life.

So I posted this on Facebook recently and the caption was " How a 6 year old gets ready for school"
This is my life...and I am so proud of myself for not yelling! ( that morning anyway) I feel like my life is a swirling mess most of the time! You know when you have one of those snowglobes and you swirl it and then the snow just spins around super fast? That is pretty much how my days feel. Chance is crawling, climbing, reaching...etc. I cannot sit for even 5 minutes. I struggle trying to find the balance between being a 'firm' mom and a 'fun' mom. I want my kids to laugh and enjoy their time with me. I am a silly person and so it is hard to be 'the sheriff' all the time. However I do have a temper and at times it presents itself like a blowing tea kettle! I make myself fell better by saying that at least I'm teaching them the value of an honest apology. Right?
My days swirl around laundry, LOTS of dishes, making breakfast, lunches, dinner, sweeping, STEAMING the floor for the crawler, trying to maintain flexibility and fairness with my multi-personality 3 year old, teaching my 6 year old to be aware and helpful, and being present for my 9 year old who is entering the awkward years just prior to becoming a 'tween', all the while nursing a hungry infant and trying to keep him from consuming dust bunnies and lego parts.
I want a clean house, time to work out so that I can feel better and lessen my stress about losing the baby weight. How do moms fit all this in and still not eat any sugar or bad foods? I am overwhelmed by it all so I decided that the weeks are for discipline and the weekends are for fun.
With that, I am sitting here enjoying a backyard s'more made by my super sweet tooth of a child, Tate. I have awesome loving kids and even though it's a crazy life. It's my life and I love it.
